August 8: What is disability? Understand the social model of disability through an interactive presentation and discussion. Learn about different types of disabilities and the accommodations needed.
August 15: What is ableism? Understand the casual, intellectual, and linguistic ableism that is in our every day lives and in our organizing. Begin to unlearn ableist language and attitudes.
August 22: (In)accessibility in Online Leftist Orgs. How are the structures of our orgs and the content we create ableist? Bring samples of your online work! Case study: Xīn Shēng Project
August 29: Making Online Organizing and Education Accessible. Learn accessible digital design principles and how to structure orgs to accommodate for different accessibility needs.
