Current Climate Moment: The Movement toward Deep Decarbonization
(90-minute webinar)

Professor Esty’s presentation will focus on the current climate moment, specifically the upcoming Conference of the Parties (COP26) and the global momentum towards deep decarbonization. This conversation will center on the global consensus of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and hone in on the points of leverage driving that change – particularly the business community and the wide array of companies making net-zero pledges. These corporate pledges are bolstered by sustainability-minded investors which is part of the key findings from Professor Esty’s recent publication, Values at Work: Sustainable Investing and ESG Reporting.
