MLK Poetry Jam in Honor of Zannette Lewis
Join us for a reimagined Open Mic and Poetry Jam celebrating Dr. King through verse and spoken word. Hosted by Ngoma Hill and Croilot Semexan, this year’s event will honor Zannette Lewis who planted the seeds from which this signature program has grown.

The Open Mic will begin at 6pm and be followed at 7pm by a tribute to Zanette Lewis featuring our hosts and a phenomenal line up of renowned poets, including Taalam Acey, Roger Bonair Agard, Lyvonne Proverbs Briggs, Jessica Care Moore, Aaron Jafferis, and Sunni Patterson.

This event is appropriate for adults and young adults with discretion of a parent or guardian. May contain adult themes or language.
