Join Eryn Rosenthal, B.A. 1998, choreographer and social practice artist, for a playful exploration of how the body in motion can enliven virtual encounters with art and activate the imagination with respect to the spaces we inhabit daily. Focusing on Ghanaian artist El Anatsui’s Society Woman’s Cloth (Gold) (2006), this session explores concepts of scale, texture, connection, and history as they relate to what Rosenthal calls “our interior and exterior landscapes.” Participants are invited to bring a large blanket or sheet, a piece of paper, and a drawing or writing utensil. People of all abilities are welcome. Generously sponsored by the John Walsh Lecture and Education Fund.
Closed captions will be available in English.
