Kristen Mercuri has been working in MBA Admissions for 11 years and serves as Deputy Director of Admissions at the Yale School of Management, a founding Forte partner. The mission at Yale SOM is to educate leaders for business and society, and a commitment to increasing the representation of women in leadership positions is an essential part of that mission. Our inclusive community (43% women) allows our students seek diverse perspectives and cultivate inclusive teams and organizational cultures. The Women in Management group at Yale SOM adds additional support to women by bringing together both women and allies in a community that fosters dialogue. Our student-organized conference Fempire, a conference on women, technology, and power seeks to facilitate discussions about the role of women’s access to leadership and equality.
